It's No Medal Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feeling weirdly underwhelmed today - not at our lack of Gold medals today but our lack of ANY medals. What is Gabby Logan gonna fill out her programme with tonight???
Oh well we cannot really complain - we gained 4 Golds 2 Silver and 2 Bronze yesterday -can't be bad. We saw 2 of our cycling legends bowing out of Team GB - firstly Victoria Pendelton who , possibly harshly, left on a silver medal run after being relegated in her first run on the final and being beaten by her arch rival Anna Mears from Australia. The we had THE MAN - Chris Hoy - whether he now gets Key to the City, becomes a Saint or even King Hoy we know what an unbelievable athlete he really is and a Team GB and Scotland Sporting Icon.
We gained another Gold medal down at Greenwich park in the Dressage and also back in the velodrome the effervescent Laura Trott won Gold in the Omnium after looking like she had lost out with 1 element to go.
It was a golden. golden day for us yet my ass was firmly taking up roots on Jude's sofa. I did leave it for a short time purely to leave and feed myself. In this time i did break the record for the "Kebab Shop Shutters are Closing 200m Dash" - still waiting for my Golden Post Box.
Today I met friends back in Greenwich where we decided to watch the individual showjumping on the big screen. It was sunny and we had plenty of sociable beers - shame we won nothing but Nick Skelton is still a living legend of the sport.
We then headed to docklands to the German beer house for a few beverages before heading to Potterfields by Tower Bridge to watch athletics on the big screen under the stunning scenery of the bridge. When it lights up it truly is spectacular. We won no medals today but to be fair we are still guaranteed 5 boxing medals and a sailing medal so all is not lost,

Tomorrow I head for my first and only experience inside the Olympic arena - it is Decathlon day and although the GB guy has pulled out there is plenty tottie (sorry talent) left in to keep me entertained.
My final blog may come to you from Birmingham as after the athletics tomorrow we have our Eurovision Retro Fest so I unlikely to be fit to write to you good people.
I hope you have enjoyed my journey - it has been everything i hoped and more. I am still walking on air and hoped you have enjoyed my journey. Catch up with you all at the weekend when I draw a line under my dream life experience xxx
